A newfound fascination with storytelling and its power to captivate audiences took place. This led me to explore documentary film-making as a medium to convey real-life narratives with depth and emotion. There is beauty in the “every-day” story.

In my mini-documentary titled "The Lower Bottoms," I delve into the vibrant cultural tapestry of Oakland, California, uncovering layers of artistic expression, rich musical heritage, and the deeply ingrained moments of Black history. Amidst the city's beauty lies a narrative of struggle, shedding light on the challenges that Oakland confronts daily.

“Mission - Architectural Prospect”

Given the task of crafting an architectural design for the Mission District of San Francisco, I created a Belizean winery (homage to my family roots) centered around the concept of fluidity and Central American culture. Departing from conventional methods, I opted to express my proposal through a videographic essay, offering a dynamic exploration of both the present and future landscape of the area.
